2. Data collected

This site does not require registration and does not collect sensitive data. We collect personal data only when voluntarily provided by the user through the contact form on the Contact page, namely: full name, email address, phone (optional), company (optional), subject, and message.

3. Purpose and legal basis of processing

Data collected through the contact form is processed solely to respond to user inquiries. The legal basis for processing is taking steps prior to entering into a contract at the data subject's request and/or the Controller's legitimate interest in responding to business and information requests (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

4. Data recipients and international transfers

The website's contact form is operated by Formspree, Inc., a company based in the United States acting as data processor on behalf of Plastpack Srl, which receives messages submitted by users and forwards them by email. The transfer of data to the United States is governed by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. Data is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes, nor used for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Retention period

Data collected through the contact form is retained for as long as necessary to handle the request, and subsequently for a maximum of 24 months, unless otherwise required by law.

Providing data through the contact form is optional. However, failing to complete fields marked as required makes it impossible to respond to the request.

7. Data subject rights

As a data subject, you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing at any time (Art. 15-22 GDPR). To exercise these rights, write to info@plastpack.com.
